Vermont Federal is continuously developing new loan programs to meet our members' borrowing needs. We do not require application fees, nor do we charge penalties if you pay your loan off early. These installment loans allow for flexible terms which help us to find the loan program that's right for you. Some loans qualify for a 0.25% discount when you have automatic payments deducted from your Vermont Federal account.

Overdraft Line of Credit

Overdraft Line of Credit automatically transfers money, in increments of $250, if you overdraw your Vermont Federal Share Draft account. This helps you to avoid non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees.

Lifestyle Loan

There are times in your life where unexpected expenses arise and putting the charge on a credit card is either costly or not an option. This loan offers a competitive rate that may be used for a variety of life-event expenses including: weddings, adoptions, cosmetic surgery, LASIK surgery, funeral expenses, infertility treatments, uninsured medical/dental expenses, veterinary care and more. This loan offers a low fixed rate with terms from three to five years.

Unsecured Loan

This loan is suitable for most purposes, including debt consolidation, home improvements or other discretionary reasons.

Computer Loan

Finance the purchase of a new computer at a reasonable rate. Vermont Federal uses the computer itself as collateral for this loan.

Fuel Assistance Loan

This loan is designed to assist you with the cost of heating your home. You can use it to pay your fuel supplier or to buy wood, or pellets, for your stove. The minimum loan amount is $300 with a maximum term of 10 months. Proceeds of the loan are made payable directly to the fuel supplier upon presentation of your invoice.

Credit Builder Loan

First time borrowers or those with past credit problems will benefit from Vermont Federal's Credit Builder Loan. This loan can help you establish credit if you are a new borrower or wish to re-establish credit and raise your overall credit score.
