Money currently in a member’s Share Account is frozen and used as collateral to cover the dollar amount of the loan request. The interest rate on a Shared Secured loan is very low. $1, 000 Express Cash Loans are available when the following conditions are met.

  • Paid two previous $500 Express Cash Loans as agreed
  • $100 application fee
  • Loans written for 9 months with monthly payments

This program was created for our young adult Credit Union members ages 18-24 with continuous employment of 6 months or more at the same job position with little or no credit history. Negative history of any kind disqualifies the applicant from this program. However, these applicants may apply for a loan with a co-maker.

The Credit Union will not loan more than 80% of retail on new vehicles or trade value on used vehicles with a loan payment maximum of $50 per week. Exceptions may be considered with
the addition of credit disability, life insurance, or a warranty package from the Credit Union.

The past due balances will be reported to the credit agency which will ruin your credit. Bad marks on your credit can stay there for up to 7 years. Additionally, credit card and loan companies can file a lawsuit against you to collect on the balances and can then garnish your wages or take your assets.
